Eleven students. One academy. One chance to make it.

Korean-American twins Mina and Minho Park thought they knew exactly what they were getting themselves into when they left America and moved to Seoul, South Korea.

They were wrong.

Welcome to K-POP ACADEMY, an elite school where talented teenagers train to become the next generation of K-pop idols.

Singing. Dancing. Rapping. Performing.

It sounds like a dream.

Until you actually have to survive it.

After arriving, Mina and Minho quickly meet nine other students: Jisoo, Yuna, Sora, Nari, Hana, Jiho, Taeyang, Hyunwoo, and Daejun. Eleven completely different personalities are suddenly thrown together, and somehow, between exhausting rehearsals, embarrassing mistakes, late-night conversations, school drama, crushes, arguments, rivalries, and more than a few secrets, they become something none of them expected.

Best friends.

But friendship doesn’t make K-POP ACADEMY any easier.

Everyone at the school wants the same thing—to debut.

And when a huge competition gives the eleven friends the opportunity to perform together, they decide to stop competing against one another and become their own K-pop group.

For weeks, they give it everything.

They practice until their bodies ache.

They fight.

They make up.

They mess up.

They almost fall apart.

And when they finally step onto that stage, they aren’t eleven students anymore.

They’re a group.

They don’t win first place.

They win second.

But sometimes, second place isn’t losing.

Sometimes it’s the beginning of something much bigger.

Because they came to K-POP ACADEMY dreaming of becoming idols.

They never expected to find a family along the way.
